An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced Nurse Supervisor to lead clinical operations in a newly established pharmacy/infusion suite in Arlington, VA. This direct hire position is ideal for a motivated RN eager to take on both hands-on patient care and leadership responsibilities, with the unique autonomy of being the sole nurse on-site as the team builds.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm (variable)
  • On-call rotation required, including nights and weekends
  • Travel up to 1 hour each way for in-home patient visits as needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer both direct and indirect skilled nursing care in the infusion suite and patients’ homes
  • Oversee, plan, and coordinate daily nursing services and workflows
  • Ensure compliance with all internal and external regulatory and documentation requirements
  • Select, develop, and motivate a high-performing staff as the team grows
  • Complete patient verification, assessment, and education in a timely and thorough manner
  • Conduct administrative oversight, assuring orientation, ongoing training, evaluations, and continuing education
  • Play a central role in policy development, implementation, and auditing processes
  • Remain available for urgent issues and emergencies during and outside standard operating hours

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN required, MSN preferred
  • Current, unencumbered RN license
  • At least 2 years’ clinical experience in home infusion, home health, or a related specialty (oncology, critical care, nutrition support, IV therapy)
  • Minimum of 1 year within the last 5 years in a supervisory or administrative role within home health/infusion or a related program
  • Strong expertise with IV therapies, vascular access devices, and pediatric care (preferred)
  • Ability to work independently in varied home environments, including those with pets or smoke
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite
