Take the lead in establishing nursing excellence at a brand-new pharmacy and infusion suite. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced nurse with strong leadership and clinical infusion skills to make a meaningful impact from day one. As the dedicated nurse on site, you’ll oversee both infusion suite operations and in-home patient care—administering acute and specialty drugs while ensuring seamless patient experiences and regulatory compliance. Your foundational work will lay the groundwork for a growing nursing team.
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm (variable)
- Participation in an on-call rotation for nights and weekends
- Required to drive up to 1 hour in one direction to visit patients
- Must be comfortable working in homes that may have animals or cigarette smoke
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN required, MSN preferred)
- Active RN license in good standing
- At least 1 year within the last 5 years of supervisory or administrative management, specifically in home health, infusion, or a related clinical program
- Minimum 2 years of recent nursing in specialty areas such as home infusion, home health, oncology, IV therapy, or critical care
- Pediatric nursing experience preferred
- Clinical expertise in IV therapies, vascular access devices, and all types of infusion lines
- Valid state driver’s license
- Proficiency in MS Office and electronic documentation
- Willingness and availability for emergency response during all operating hours
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect skilled nursing care in both infusion suite and home settings
- Coordinate, plan, and monitor nursing staff activities and patient care
- Select, train, and mentor professional staff as the team grows
- Oversee compliance, documentation, billing submissions, and maintain accreditation requirements
- Provide on-call and emergency support to ensure uninterrupted patient care and operational excellence
Compensation for this direct hire opportunity is up to $120k, reflective of the specialized expertise and leadership expectations.
