Supervisor Nurse Manager in Herndon, VA

Take the lead in launching a state-of-the-art pharmacy and infusion suite, providing direct patient care and shaping the future of an expanding team. This opportunity offers the chance to be at the forefront of infusion therapy, administering both acute and specialty drugs in a dynamic and varied setting—working autonomously in the infusion suite and traveling to patients’ homes, sometimes up to an hour away.

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5pm (variable)
• On-call rotation, including nights and weekends

Key Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school (BSN required; MSN preferred)
• Current RN license in good standing
• At least 2 years of specialty nursing (home infusion, home health, oncology, nutrition support, IV therapy, or critical care)
• At least 1 year of management or supervisory experience in the past 5 years within home health or infusion
• Pediatric nursing experience strongly preferred
• Proven proficiency in IV therapies and vascular access device management
• Advanced certifications (CRNI, ONS, IgRN) a plus
• Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel up to an hour in one direction
• Flexibility to work in environments with pets/smoke and respond to emergencies during all operating hours

Responsibilities:

• Administer direct and indirect skilled nursing care in the suite and patients’ homes
• Manage, train, and develop future nursing staff as the program grows
• Oversee workflow, ensure compliance, and maintain clinical competence
• Coordinate care, scheduling, and documentation in conjunction with the operations and scheduling team
• Participate in planning and policymaking for clinical and administrative best practices
• Monitor and promote high-quality patient care and departmental productivity

This direct hire position offers a salary up to $120,000 annually and the opportunity to build and influence a new infusion program from the ground up.
