Step into a key leadership role in a new pharmacy and infusion suite, serving as the sole nurse at launch with responsibility for both infusion suite and in-home patient care. This position not only requires clinical expertise in acute and specialty drug infusions but also a commitment to building and shaping nursing protocols and standards as the facility grows.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm (hours variable)
  • Participation in on-call rotation (nights and weekends)
  • Ability to drive up to an hour one direction for home visits
  • Must be comfortable working in patient homes that may have animals or cigarette smoke

Key Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN required, MSN preferred
  • Current RN license in good standing
  • Minimum 2 years’ nursing experience in home infusion, IV therapy, oncology, critical care, nutrition support, or related specialty
  • At least 1 year within the last 5 years in supervisory/administrative management in home health/infusion/similar programs
  • Pediatric nursing experience (2+ years) strongly preferred
  • Clinical expertise with IV therapies and all IV lines
  • Knowledge of vascular access devices and infusion therapies
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Advanced certifications such as CRNI, ONS, or IgRN preferred
  • Valid, unrestricted state driver’s license
  • Must be available at all times during operating hours and for emergencies

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver both direct and indirect skilled nursing care to patients
  • Implement, monitor, and manage physician orders related to nursing care
  • Train, mentor, and orient staff as the team grows; ensure clinical competence
  • Oversee compliance, timely documentation, and coordination with department schedulers
  • Collaborate in ongoing planning and implementation of nursing policies and procedures
  • Ensure adherence to standards and professional growth
  • Respond promptly to emergencies for efficient resolution and minimal operational interruption
