Core Qualifications:

• Active CRCST with Healthcare Sterile Processing Association, OR
• Current CSPDS or CSPM certification with The Certification Board for Sterile Processing & Distribution
• Minimum of 5 years’ sterile processing experience in a hospital environment
• At least 3 years of proven leadership experience
• Demonstrated ability with financial analysis, including interpreting departmental reports and overseeing budgetary functions
• Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field, or a minimum of 5 years of equivalent experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor sterile processing staff to ensure compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements
• Oversee all sterile processing functions, emphasizing quality assurance and process improvement
• Manage department financials, contribute to budget planning, and analyze performance metrics
• Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and ongoing professional development among team members
