Seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist with a passion for excellence in perioperative care for a dynamic contract assignment. In this role, you will collaborate closely with registered nurses and surgical team members, providing critical support during a wide variety of general surgical procedures. Your expertise will ensure the surgical environment is safe, efficient, and patient-centered.
Schedule:
- 3x12-hour shifts: 7:00am–7:30pm
- Rotating call: Once per week and every 6th weekend
Qualifications:
- Active CST certification
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist
- Previous travel assignment experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, organize, and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies before, during, and after procedures
- Understand each surgical procedure and anticipate the surgeon’s needs for instruments and materials
- Provide support services related to patient preparation, including transport and positioning
- Assist the surgical care team in meeting patient safety and comfort needs
- Maintain integrity of sterile fields and respond promptly to emergent situations following established protocols

$1,441 - $1,576/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
