Operating Room Technician - Albion, Michigan

Step into a key supporting role in a dynamic operating room environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced, certified Surgical Technologist driven to deliver exceptional patient care. You’ll work closely with surgeons, nurses, and the entire surgical care team, contributing expertise and professionalism to every procedure.

Schedule:

• 3x12-hour shifts: 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
• Call rotation: Once per week and every 6th weekend

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST)
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Surgical Tech, with previous travel experience preferred
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Thorough understanding of general surgical procedures and OR protocols

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and organize surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies, responding quickly to the needs of the surgical team
• Anticipate and adapt to surgeon and team requirements throughout each procedure
• Provide support for patient preparation and transport before and after operations
• Respond effectively to emergent situations according to established protocols
• Maintain sterile fields, follow infection control standards, and support safe patient care practices
• Assist with building service tasks and other support duties as required by the surgical care team

• 13-week contract, with the potential to extend based on facility needs and your performance

$1,441 - $1,576/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
