Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff during operative procedures by ensuring appropriate instruments and supplies are available and sterile
  • Prepare and maintain operating room environments before, during, and after procedures
  • Adhere to strict infection control policies and all facility protocols
  • Manage surgical equipment and verify its functionality prior to procedures
  • Document relevant patient and procedure information precisely and in a timely manner
  • Support patient safety and comfort throughout surgical experiences
