- Ability to anticipate the needs of surgeons and nurses during procedures
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and professional communication abilities
- Positive work history reflecting punctuality, compliance with workplace standards, and effective teamwork
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff during operative procedures by ensuring appropriate instruments and supplies are available and sterile
- Prepare and maintain operating room environments before, during, and after procedures
- Adhere to strict infection control policies and all facility protocols
- Manage surgical equipment and verify its functionality prior to procedures
- Document relevant patient and procedure information precisely and in a timely manner
- Support patient safety and comfort throughout surgical experiences
