This travel role places you in the heart of a main surgical unit, supporting a robust service line with cutting-edge procedures and a fast-paced workflow. Exposure to complex neuro, orthopedic, and urology surgical cases—plus the use of advanced DaVinci XI robotics—will enhance your skill set and expand your resume with invaluable experience. Schedule/Hours
- Monday–Friday: 2 days (6:45 a.m. – 7:15 p.m.), 2 days (10:45 a.m. – 7:15 p.m.)
- 13-week assignment
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an ORT (Operating Room Technician/Surgical Tech)
- Recent surgical experience in both Neuro and Thoracic specialties
- AHA BLS certification (current)
- Proficiency with Cerner charting
- Not open to local candidates within a 50-mile radius
Responsibilities
- Support surgical procedures in a high-volume environment (28–55 cases/day)
- Prepare, maintain, and manage surgical instruments in the main surgical unit
- Support service lines including orthopedics, neurology, thoracic, urology, and general surgery
- Operate with advanced robotics (DaVinci XI) for precise surgical assistance
- Ensure proper infection control and regulatory compliance
