Schedule/Hours:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Rotating call required

Key Qualifications:

• 2-4 years’ experience as a Surgical Technologist, particularly in trauma care
• Well-rounded skills across Orthopedic, Neuro, and Vascular surgical procedures
• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential preferred, but not required
• Previous experience in a high-acuity hospital or surgery center
• Ability to work efficiently in a team under pressure
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Open to local candidates as well as travelers

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and maintain the sterile field in operating rooms
• Assist surgical teams during operative procedures as scrub or first assist
• Handle surgical instruments and supplies according to protocols
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to established aseptic techniques
• Collaborate with RNs, anesthesiologists, and surgeons to optimize patient care
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and demonstrate adaptability across cases
