Operating Room Technician - Beaverton, Oregon

Schedule/Hours:

• 10-hour shifts
• Day shift: 6:45am – 5:15pm
• Specific working days discussed during the interview process

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist and/or background in Nursing – ORT
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in the operating room
• Solid understanding of aseptic technique, surgical instrumentation, and perioperative procedures
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary surgical team

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms for surgery, ensuring all needed equipment and supplies are available and sterile
• Assist surgical teams during procedures by anticipating needs and responding quickly
• Handle surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment with precision throughout procedures
• Support patient safety initiatives and maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols
• Collaborate with nursing and surgical staff before, during, and after operations to ensure seamless care
