Step into a vital role supporting surgical excellence as a certified Surgical Technician (ORT) for a 13-week assignment. This contract position offers the chance to work alongside experienced surgical teams, making a meaningful difference in patient care and outcomes.

Schedule:

• Ten-hour day shifts: 6:45am – 5:15pm
• Specific days to be determined during the interview

Qualifications:

• Certified Surgical Technician (ORT) credentials
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a surgical setting
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Sharp attention to surgical procedures, sterile technique, and patient safety
• Team-focused attitude with strong communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies
• Assist surgeons and nurses throughout operative procedures, maintaining a sterile environment
• Accurately anticipate and respond to the needs of the surgical team during procedures
• Handle, prepare, and account for all surgical instruments and materials
• Participate in pre- and post-operative room clean-up and restocking
• Maintain detailed documentation as required by hospital and regulatory standards
