Key Qualifications:

• Experience as a Surgical Technologist (Certified or Non-certified), or Nursing – Operating Room Technician (ORT)
• Knowledge of operating room protocols and sterile technique

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain a sterile field for surgical procedures
• Assist with equipment arrangement and instrument setup prior to operations
• Pass instruments and supplies to the surgical team during procedures
• Maintain accurate counts of sponges, needles, and instruments
• Support the safe transfer and positioning of patients as needed
• Collaborate with surgical and nursing colleagues to maximize procedural efficiency
• Participate in cleaning and preparing the operating room for subsequent cases
