Travel Operating Room Technician | Biddeford, Maine

Schedule & Hours:

• 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. shifts
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Rotating schedule: 1 in 4 weekends (12-hour shifts)
• Call: One overnight call (11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. for trauma); specialty call as assigned

Qualifications:

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
• Minimum 2 years of ORT experience
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Knowledge of Epic EMR preferred
• Strong background in one or more: General, GU/GYN, Ortho trauma, Ortho joints, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, Dental, Endovascular procedures
• Adaptable, accountable, punctual, strong team collaborator

Role Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for surgical procedures
• Efficiently set up and operate surgical equipment, including Storz, Stryker, Olympus, Intuitive Robot
• Provide direct assistance to surgical staff during procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records within the Epic EMR system
• Demonstrate flexibility and effective communication within a 1:1 patient ratio
• Adhere to departmental protocols and don teal-issued hospital scrubs
