Schedule & Hours:
- 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. shifts
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
- Rotating schedule: 1 in 4 weekends (12-hour shifts)
- Call: One overnight call (11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. for trauma); specialty call as assigned
Qualifications:
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
- Minimum 2 years of ORT experience
- Level 1 trauma experience required
- Knowledge of Epic EMR preferred
- Strong background in one or more: General, GU/GYN, Ortho trauma, Ortho joints, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, Dental, Endovascular procedures
- Adaptable, accountable, punctual, strong team collaborator
Role Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for surgical procedures
- Efficiently set up and operate surgical equipment, including Storz, Stryker, Olympus, Intuitive Robot
- Provide direct assistance to surgical staff during procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records within the Epic EMR system
- Demonstrate flexibility and effective communication within a 1:1 patient ratio
- Adhere to departmental protocols and don teal-issued hospital scrubs
