• Prior experience as an Operating Room Technician (ORT) or Surgical Technologist in a hospital or surgical center setting.
• Proficiency in aseptic technique, surgical instrumentation, and sterile field maintenance.
• Ability to anticipate surgical team needs during procedures.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
• Up-to-date BLS certification required.

Schedule:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are readily available.
• Maintain sterile techniques throughout surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons and the surgical team by passing instruments and other necessary items during surgery.
• Monitor and maintain the sterile field at all times.
• Handle surgical specimens with accuracy and follow proper protocols.
• Support pre-operative and post-operative processes, including room turnover and equipment sterilization.
• Collaborate effectively with nurses, surgeons, and anesthesia teams for optimal patient care.
