You will be assigned to a prominent hospital, engaging with cutting-edge technology and procedures in a bustling operating room. Schedule/Hours:
- 4x10 or 4x12 hour shifts with day/evening rotation
- Rotating between evenings (e.g., 1p–11p or 11a–11p) and days (e.g., 7a–5:30p, 9a–7:30p, or 7a–7:30p, 9a–9:30p)
- Occasional 12-hour weekend shifts; 2 weeks of nights per contract
- Includes at least 2 short-calls every 4 weeks and some weekend coverage
Qualifications:
- Current nursing license
- Proficiency as an Operating Room Technician (ORT)
- High-capacity OR experience required
- Prior experience in large, fast-paced healthcare settings preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility with scheduling, including evenings, nights, and weekends
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in operating rooms during procedures
- Maintain a sterile environment and ensure all instruments are prepared
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia teams
- Support patient care before, during, and after surgery
- Uphold facility protocols and safety standards
