What You'll Bring:

  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST)
  • Proven skills in Nursing - Operating Room Technology (ORT)
  • Experience assisting in surgical procedures and maintaining a sterile environment
  • Ability to anticipate the needs of the surgical team and respond quickly to changing situations
  • Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, equipment care, and setup
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities
  • Commitment to strict infection control protocols and patient confidentiality

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare operating rooms, ensuring all surgical instruments and supplies are available and properly sterilized
  • Assist surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists during operations for efficient workflow
  • Maintain aseptic technique before, during, and after surgical procedures
  • Count sponges, needles, and instruments to ensure patient safety
  • Handle surgical specimens and documentation reliably
  • Keep a calm, focused demeanor in fast-paced or urgent situations
  • Collaborate effectively with the entire perioperative team
