Schedule/Hours:
- Choose between 4x10 or 4x12 Day/Evening rotation
- Evening 4x10: 1p-11p; Day 4x10: 7a-5:30p (Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri), 9a-7:30p (Wed)
- Evening 4x12: 11a-11p; Day 4x12: 7a-7:30p (Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri), 9a-9:30p (Wed)
- Rotations include at least 2 weeks of nights per contract
- At least two short calls every 4 weeks, including some weekend shifts
- Weekend scheduling includes 12-hour shifts combined with 8 or 10-hour shifts to meet contract hours
As an Operating Room Nurse, you’ll work within a high-capacity surgical environment, collaborating with accomplished teams and leveraging cutting-edge technologies. Your experience in high-volume operating rooms will allow you to seamlessly adapt and contribute to advanced patient care.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license (Massachusetts or compact state)
- At least 2 years of recent experience in a large, high-volume operating room
- Proficiency with routine and emergent OR procedures
- Ability to adapt across varying shifts, including nights and weekends
- Current BLS certification (required); ACLS preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide perioperative patient care in a fast-paced surgical setting
- Circulate and/or scrub for a variety of surgical specialties
- Work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and support staff
- Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards at all times
- Participate in call and night rotations
