Key Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist or Nursing - ORT required
• Demonstrated experience in an operating room environment
• Knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical instrumentation
• Ability to anticipate the needs of surgeons and assist efficiently during procedures
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain sterile fields before and during surgical procedures
• Pass instruments and supplies to the surgical team during operations
• Monitor and track surgical tools, ensuring their safe handling and disposal
• Assist in preparing patients and operating rooms by following infection control protocols
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia team to ensure seamless surgical workflows
• Adhere strictly to safety standards and best practices in patient care
• Participate in case debriefings and ensure proper documentation of each procedure
