Step into a pivotal healthcare support role, working alongside skilled surgical teams to deliver outstanding patient care. This position focuses on the preparation and handling of surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary for a range of general surgical procedures. You will function under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and collaborate closely with surgical staff to anticipate needs and maintain a safe, efficient operating environment.
Schedule:
- 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 am–7:30 pm)
- On-call once per week and every sixth weekend
- 13-week contract with possibility of extension
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential (required)
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Surgical Technologist
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Previous travel assignment experience preferred
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, organize, and manage surgical instruments and supplies throughout operative procedures
- Anticipate and respond promptly to the needs of the surgical team
- Ensure proper patient preparation and assist with patient transport as required
- Support the surgical team with patient care tasks to uphold safety and comfort standards
- React effectively to emergency situations by following established facility protocols

$1,441 - $1,576/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
