Key Qualifications:

  • Valid certification as a Surgical Technologist (ORT or CST required)
  • Demonstrated experience working in an operating room or surgical setting
  • Comprehensive knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, and aseptic techniques
  • Ability to anticipate the needs of surgeons and maintain composure under pressure
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Solid communication and teamwork abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare surgical suites, sterilize instruments, and ensure all equipment is functioning properly
  • Assist surgeons and other team members during operative procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of surgical supplies and instruments
  • Handle specimens in accordance with protocols and hospital policy
  • Support safe patient positioning and transport before, during, and after surgery
  • Assist with room turnover and equipment cleaning following procedures

$1,331 - $1,408/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
