Operating Room Technician in Cleveland, OH

Schedule/Hours:

• 13-week assignment
• 5 x 8-hour shifts
• Mid-shift: 11:00 AM start time

Required Qualifications:

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (Certified Surgical Tech)
• ORT nursing skills and background
• Active BLS certification
• NTCMB credential required
• Prior experience in an operating room setting strongly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms for scheduled procedures, ensuring a sterile environment and proper equipment setup
• Assist surgeons and nurses during operations by passing instruments and maintaining surgical field integrity
• Monitor patients’ conditions and vital signs under the supervision of the surgical team
• Safely handle specimens for laboratory analysis as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with multi-disciplinary staff for optimal patient outcomes
• Support diligent adherence to all infection control, safety, and privacy protocols
