Operating Room Technician - Cleveland, Ohio

Step into a crucial surgical support role as a certified Surgical Technologist with a focus on operating room procedures. Work alongside accomplished surgical teams in a state-of-the-art environment supporting both inpatient and outpatient care. This contract spans 13 weeks, providing ample opportunity to expand your expertise within a collaborative, high-acuity setting.

Schedule:

• 13-week contract
• Five 8-hour shifts per week (Monday–Friday)
• Hours: 11:45 AM – 7:45 PM

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (ORT)
• Valid BLS certification
• Demonstrated experience with ophthalmic (eye) procedures, including scrubbing posterior eye cases and trauma
• Proficiency with the DaVinci XI robotic system is required
• Flexible to float between operating departments as needed (main OR and 7-room surgical unit)
• Adaptable, reliable, and able to thrive in busy settings with variable surgical volumes

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain the surgical environment to ensure patient safety and efficient case turnover
• Scrub on diverse cases, with a primary focus on ophthalmic and related surgical specialties
• Operate, troubleshoot, and care for advanced surgical technology, including DaVinci XI
• Anticipate surgeon and procedural team needs, supporting smooth workflow in both trauma and routine cases
• Float to the main OR or other departments within your skill set when needed
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and procedural protocols
