Operating Room Technician | Cleveland, Ohio

Join a dynamic surgical team in a Level 3 trauma setting, providing vital patient care as a highly skilled Certified Surgical Technologist or Operating Room Technician. This contract role spans 13 weeks, offering a fast-paced environment where your expertise in orthopedic total joints, laparoscopic, and robotic procedures directly contributes to exceptional surgical outcomes.

Schedule:

• 4x10 hour shifts, days (7:00 am – 5:30 pm)
• Call is required:
  • Expect 1 weekday call per week (5:30 pm – 7:00 am next day)
  • 1 weekend call every 5 weeks (Saturday or Sunday, 7:00 am – 7:00 am following day)
  • Mandatory call rotation for coverage as needed
  • Must be able to respond within 30 minutes of being called

Qualifications:

• Certified Surgical Technologist or experienced Operating Room Technician (ORT)
• Proven proficiency in scrubbing orthopedic total joint procedures
• Experience with laparoscopic and robotic cases required
• Ability to work efficiently in a Level 3 trauma environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Dependable when managing on-call shifts and emergency coverage

• Assist surgeons with instruments and supplies during operations
• Anticipate surgical team needs, ensuring patient safety at all times

• Remain on-call and respond promptly within the required timeframe
