An exciting opportunity is available for skilled professionals with expertise as a Surgical Technologist (Certified) and Operating Room Technician. This contract position offers a dynamic environment in which to support surgical teams and ensure top-tier patient care in a modern healthcare setting.

Qualifications:

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or similar relevant certification required
• Experience in perioperative nursing or operating room technology preferred
• Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
• Ability to anticipate surgeon needs and maintain accurate, organized instrumentation
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures including surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment
• Assist surgical teams during operative procedures by passing instruments, holding retractors, and maintaining a sterile field
• Verify and properly account for all surgical instruments and materials before, during, and after procedures
• Support preoperative and postoperative room turnover with thorough cleaning and restocking
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other staff to minimize risk and maximize patient safety
