Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) required
• Previous experience in an operating room technician (ORT) role highly preferred
• Comprehensive knowledge of aseptic technique, surgical equipment, and sterile field management
• Ability to anticipate the needs of surgeons and assist efficiently during procedures
• Exceptional teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms by setting up instruments, surgical equipment, and sterile supplies according to scheduled procedures
• Assist surgeons, nurses, and fellow staff throughout operative cases, maintaining strict adherence to sterility protocols
• Monitor and manage sterile fields and surgical instruments before, during, and after procedures
• Provide swift and accurate turnover of rooms between cases
• Collaborate effectively with the surgical and nursing teams to optimize patient safety and procedural outcomes
• Support inventory management by tracking and ordering surgical supplies as needed
