Operating Room Technician | Coraopolis, Pennsylvania

Skilled Certified Surgical Technologists and Operating Room Technicians are sought to support dynamic perioperative teams in a fast-paced clinical environment. In this role, your expertise and collaboration will directly contribute to optimal surgical outcomes and enhanced patient care. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms including surgical instruments, sterile supplies, and related equipment
• Anticipate the needs of surgeons and assist efficiently throughout complex procedures
• Ensure adherence to strict aseptic and infection control protocols
• Count and track sponges, needles, instruments, and supplies before, during, and after operations
• Assist with patient positioning, draping, and transfer as needed
• Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment in the surgical suite
• Collaborate with nurses, surgeons, and anesthesia staff for safe and effective care delivery
• Accurately document activities, events, and patient information during procedures

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST)
• Demonstrated experience as an Operating Room Technician
• Thorough knowledge of sterile techniques, surgical instruments, and operating room procedures
• Ability to adapt quickly and maintain composure in urgent situations
• Strong attention to detail and excellent teamwork skills
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
