Travel Operating Room Technician | Crestwood, Kentucky

Schedule/Hours:

• Orientation: One week, day shifts provided (3 days 6:30 am–7:00 pm; 4 days 6:30 am–5:00 pm; 3 days 10:30 am–11:00 pm)
• Flexible weekend and holiday rotation, based on unit needs
• On-call with 40-minute response time required

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years’ nursing or ORT experience (travel experience required)
• Current BLS certification (RN or ORT)
• CST National Certification required for techs
• Proficiency in circulating or scrubbing, including foley catheter, chest tube management, and AED usage
• Experience with vascular, neuro, thoracic, robotics (preferred), transplant, orthopedic, hand, spine, podiatry, gyn, Carotid/Endarterectomy cases
• Ability to float for case preparation and break relief

Responsibilities:

• Fulfill duties as circulating RN or proficient OR Tech in a variety of complex cases
• Operate advanced technology and specialized equipment (Cerner EMR, Da Vinci D5, Bovie, tourniquet, harmonic, stretchers)
• Work collaboratively with a supportive management team; ratio of 1 RN and 1 Tech per case
• Relieve staff during lunch or breaks as assigned
• Adhere to department standards and contribute to superior patient outcomes
