Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain sterile fields in the operating room
  • Assist surgical staff with instruments and supplies throughout surgical procedures
  • Ensure counts of instruments, sponges, and supplies before and after procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized operating area at all times
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to infection control protocols
  • Support the surgical team in anticipating needs and troubleshooting issues as they arise
  • Demonstrate a proactive attitude and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in OR settings as a nursing professional or surgical technologist
  • Knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques
