We are seeking a motivated professional with experience in the operating room environment for an important role supporting surgical teams. Your expertise as a surgical technologist—certified, non-certified, or with perioperative nursing (ORT) skills—will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of complex procedures and patient safety.

Key Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Surgical Technologist (certified or non-certified), or strong nursing/ORT background in the operating room.
  • Extensive knowledge of surgical instruments, sterile technique, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to anticipate surgeon and team needs during various surgical procedures.
  • Familiarity with operating room procedures, patient positioning, and aseptic practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures, ensuring all instruments and equipment are sterile and properly arranged.
  • Assist the surgical team during operations by passing instruments, maintaining sterile fields, and ensuring all safety guidelines are strictly followed.
  • Support patient positioning and assist with surgical draping.
  • Handle specimen collection and process according to established protocols.
  • Uphold rigorous standards of infection control and equipment care.
  • Collaborate closely with nurses, surgeons, and anesthesia providers to promote positive patient outcomes.
