Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Surgical Technologist (Certified or Non-certified) or Nursing - ORT required
  • Current BLS certification preferred
  • Strong understanding of aseptic technique and surgical instrumentation
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
  • Flexibility and adaptability in fast-paced perioperative settings

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment is sterile and available
  • Assist surgeons and nurses during operations, following precise protocol and maintaining a sterile field
  • Handle surgical instruments and supplies efficiently before, during, and after procedures
  • Support patient safety and comfort at every stage of care
  • Accurately document procedures and follow post-operative protocols
