Responsibilities:

  • Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields for a variety of surgical procedures
  • Assist surgical teams by passing instruments, sponges, or other necessary supplies during procedures
  • Ensure adherence to strict aseptic and sterile techniques at all times
  • Conduct equipment checks and assist with the setup and breakdown of surgical areas
  • Monitor and maintain an organized work space to optimize patient safety and efficiency
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia teams for smooth workflow

Qualifications:

  • Certified Surgical Tech or ORT credential required
  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
  • Minimum of one year of recent experience in an operating room setting preferred
  • BLS certification current and valid
  • Excellent communication, detail orientation, and adaptability
