Operating Room Technician in Eagle, ID

Seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to support surgical teams and ensure seamless operations in an advanced healthcare environment. This contract position demands attention to detail and a commitment to the highest standards of patient care in the operating room.

Schedule:

• Four shifts per week, 06:45 – 17:15
• Occasional late stay-call shifts (0–2 per week), 17:15 – 19:15
• Periodic 12-hour call shifts (1–3 in a 6-week cycle), 7:00–19:00 or 19:00–7:00 on weekends and holidays

What We're Looking For:

• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST)
• Experience as an ORT or in a similar surgical setting preferred
• Strong understanding of sterilization, aseptic techniques, and surgical instrumentation
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate surgeon and team needs during procedures
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Flexibility to accommodate a dynamic operating room schedule, including on-call rotations

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment is ready for use
• Assist surgical teams before, during, and after procedures to maintain safety and efficiency
• Pass instruments, supplies, and sterile items during surgeries with precision
• Adhere to strict infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment at all times
• Support pre- and post-operative procedures, including patient transport and equipment cleanup
• Collaborate with nurses and other OR staff to deliver outstanding patient care
