Schedule/Hours:

  • 8 D/E shifts; 40 hours per week
  • Start times: 0700, 0900, 1100, 1500
  • Weekend rotation: as needed
  • On-call responsibilities: dependent on skillset
  • Holidays: as needed (usually not scheduled)
  • Floating within the OR as required

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of recent ORT experience required
  • Experience with neuro (including neuro call), ortho (totals and trauma), genuro, da Vinci robotics, total joint support, urology, and peripheral vascular cases
  • Active NBSTSA or NCCT certification
  • AHA BLS required
  • Willingness to train and mentor new staff
  • Flexibility to float to genuro and other OR areas

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in diverse operating room cases, specializing in neuro, ortho, and genuro surgeries
  • Provide comprehensive surgical support, including call coverage for neuro cases
  • Support best practices in patient care and safety
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for optimal outcomes
  • Train and orient new staff as needed
