Schedule/Hours:

• Shift: 5 x 8-hour shifts
• Mid-shift: 11:00 am start

Qualifications:

• Certified Surgical Technologist credential required
• Previous experience as a Surgical Technologist or ORT in a surgical setting
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory
• NTCMB certification required
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and perioperative processes
• Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms for surgeries, including sterilizing equipment and ensuring all necessary supplies are available
• Assist surgical teams throughout procedures by passing instruments, maintaining a sterile field, and providing technical support
• Monitor patient safety and aseptic technique at every phase of surgery
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
• Manage instrument counts and handle specimens properly following procedural protocols
• Support room turnover between cases and help with post-operative cleanup
