Operating Room Technician - Euclid, Ohio

Schedule/Hours:

• 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (7:00am–5:30pm, Monday through Friday)
• On-call required at least 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) and/or proven ability as an experienced Operating Room Technician (ORT)
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of recent, relevant experience in the operating room

Key Responsibilities:

• Support surgical teams by preparing operating rooms, instruments, and sterile fields according to protocol
• Provide direct assistance during a wide variety of procedures, ensuring safety and adherence to sterile technique
• Anticipate surgeon and team needs to ensure case efficiency and optimal patient care
• Safely manage surgical specimens and count instruments/sponges rigorously
• Maintain accurate patient and procedural documentation
