An experienced Surgical Technologist is needed to support a dynamic perioperative team dedicated to delivering quality surgical care. This role requires expertise in orthopedic, general surgery, endoscopy, GYN, ENT, podiatry, urology, ophthalmologic, and dental procedures. The ideal candidate possesses strong sterile technique, adaptability, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • 24–40 hours per week, volume-based hours
  • On-call required 10–11 days per month (3:30 PM – 7:00 PM, Monday to Friday)
  • No weekends or holidays

Qualifications:

  • Surgical Technologist education required
  • CST certification and current BLS required
  • Prior experience in a variety of surgical services including ortho, general surgery, endoscopy, GYN, ENT, podiatry, urology, eyes, and dental preferred
  • Proficient with sterile technique, instrumentation, and operating room protocols
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and multitasking skills
  • Flexible to adapt to variable scheduling according to procedural volume

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments for diverse procedures
  • Assist surgical teams during operations, maintaining strict adherence to aseptic techniques
  • Ensure accurate counts of sponges, needles, and instruments
  • Support patient safety and advocacy in all perioperative phases
  • Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists to deliver optimal outcomes
  • Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled
