Qualifications & Experience Desired:

• Active certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST)
• Demonstrated experience in perioperative nursing, with strong foundational ORT skills
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to anticipate surgeon needs and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures
• Proficiency with standard operating room equipment and instrumentation
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to infection control and patient safety protocols

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and operating room staff during various surgical procedures
• Prepare the operating suite, instruments, supplies, and equipment before procedures
• Maintain the sterile field, anticipate the needs of the surgical team, and handle surgical instruments as instructed
• Monitor patients’ condition and report all changes to the appropriate team members
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies and procedures regarding infection prevention
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide seamless, quality patient care
• Participate in pre- and post-operative patient care activities as needed

$2,057 - $2,176/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
