As a Certified Surgical Technologist traveling for a 13-week assignment, you will expand your experience across diverse surgeon teams, broaden your understanding of varied workplace practices, and refine your technical skills within a dynamic perioperative environment. Schedule/Hours:

• 13-week assignment
• Monday to Friday, 5x8’s day shifts

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technologist program (CAAHEP, ABHES, or similar)
• At least one (1) year of experience as a Surgical Technician
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or Tech in Surgery-Certified (TS-C) preferred
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Candidates must reside at least 60 miles away from the facility

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments according to procedure specifications
• Assist surgical teams throughout operative procedures, maintaining strict aseptic technique
• Ensure availability and integrity of sterile instruments and supplies before and during surgery
• Monitor surgical equipment and anticipate the needs of surgeons and nurses
• Support post-operative turnover and strict adherence to safety protocols
