Qualifications and Experience:

• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or licensure as an ORT Nurse
• Familiarity with a wide range of surgical instrumentation and sterile techniques
• Previous experience assisting in operating rooms, scrubbing, and circulating during various procedures
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational abilities
• BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to adapt swiftly to changing clinical situations

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies
• Assist surgical teams during procedures, anticipating needs and ensuring a sterile environment
• Monitor surgical field and respond promptly to the needs of surgeons and nurses
• Maintain precise documentation for the surgical process and adhere to all safety protocols
• Ensure all equipment and tools are properly cleaned, sterilized, and accounted for post-procedure
• Support patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures
