Travel Operating Room Technician in Goose Creek, SC

Schedule:

• 12-week assignment, 40 hours per week
• 8-hour Day Shifts: 0630–1500
• 2 weekday call shifts per week
• Call rotation every 3rd–4th weekend

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Current NBSTSA certification (Certified Surgical Technologist)
• Demonstrated experience with both cardiac and vascular procedures
• At least 50+ miles from assignment location (no local candidates)
• Surgical Technology diploma or equivalent training
• Thorough knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Serving as a key scrub tech in operating rooms, focusing on cardiac and vascular cases
• Ensuring instruments and supplies are properly prepared and managed
• Supporting surgeons and circulating nurses before, during, and after procedures
• Maintaining strict adherence to aseptic technique
• Responding efficiently to intraoperative changes and emergencies
• Documenting procedures and maintaining compliance with facility protocols
