Seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist with expertise in OR Nursing to support a dynamic surgical team. This contract role offers a 13-week duration with the possibility of extension.
Schedule/Hours:
- Three 12-hour shifts: 7:00 am – 7:30 pm
- Call required: once per week and every 6th weekend
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience
- Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- Prior travel assignment experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain a sterile field for surgical procedures
- Select, prepare, and handle surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment as required by the surgical team
- Demonstrate knowledge of the surgical procedure and anticipate the needs of surgeons and nurses
- Assist in patient preparation and safe transport to/from the operating room
- Collaborate with the surgical care team to ensure patient safety and comfort
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies and changing situations in the OR
- Support tasks related to building services and patient care as assigned

$1,441 - $1,576/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
