Step into a dynamic surgical environment in Gresham, OR, offering a 13-week contract opportunity for experienced professionals with specialized skills in Nursing - ORT or as a Certified Surgical Technologist. You'll collaborate closely with dedicated teams, making a direct impact on surgical outcomes and patient care.

Schedule:

  • 10-hour day shifts: 6:45am–5:15pm
  • Specific working days to be determined during the interview

Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Surgical Technologist or advanced experience in Operating Room Technology (ORT)
  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in a surgical or operating room setting
  • Strong knowledge of sterilization techniques, surgical instrumentation, and perioperative protocols
  • Exceptional teamwork, adaptability, and communication skills
  • Commitment to patient safety and maintaining a sterile environment

Role Responsibilities:

  • Prepare operating rooms and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are set up prior to procedures
  • Assist surgeons and clinical staff during operations, anticipating needs and handling surgical instruments with precision
  • Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique throughout surgical procedures
  • Safeguard patient well-being by monitoring for, identifying, and reporting any concerns during preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases
  • Participate in surgical counts, equipment care, and post-procedure room turnover to ensure optimal workflow
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver seamless surgical care
