Scrub Tech - Grosse Pointe, Michigan

A healthcare facility in Grosse Pointe, MI, is seeking a Certified Surgical Technician with skills in Nursing – ORT for a contract position. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support surgical teams in a dynamic operating room environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms by setting up sterile instruments and equipment
• Assist surgeons and nursing staff during operative procedures
• Maintain sterile field and ensure compliance with infection control protocols
• Monitor and manage surgical supplies inventory
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to promote patient safety

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Certified Surgical Technician (CST) credential required
• Experience in ORT nursing or similar operating room support role
• Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, techniques, and protocols
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced OR settings
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
