Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Active certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent
  • Background in the Operating Room environment (ORT), with strong foundational nursing knowledge
  • Proven ability to handle instruments, supplies, and equipment effectively during surgical procedures
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within surgical teams
  • BLS Certification (required)
  • Previous travel experience is a plus but not required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare operating rooms, ensuring all instruments and sterile supplies are in place
  • Assist surgeons and nursing staff before, during, and after procedures
  • Maintain aseptic technique and provide critical support to ensure patient safety
  • Monitor and account for all surgical materials and instruments
  • Document surgeries according to facility standards and assist with post-operative room turnover
