Qualifications & Experience:

• Current national certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or comparable accredited certification.
• Demonstrated experience as an Operating Room Technician, with knowledge of aseptic technique.
• Proficiency in scrubbing all basic surgical procedures; additional specialty experience is highly valued.
• Familiarity with surgical instruments, sterile field preparation, and safety protocols.
• Active BLS certification.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to work efficiently within fast-paced environments, and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments and sterile supplies in advance of procedures.
• Assist surgical teams by anticipating surgeon needs and efficiently passing instruments during operations.
• Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control guidelines throughout procedures.
• Monitor, verify, and track surgical supplies, equipment, and count instruments before and after surgeries.
• Support operating room turnover by cleaning, restocking, and preparing for subsequent cases.
• Collaborate closely with nursing staff, surgeons, and anesthesia personnel to promote positive patient outcomes.
