Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience as an Operating Room Technician (ORT) or Surgical Tech (non-certified)
• Strong understanding of aseptic technique and infection control protocols
• Familiarity with surgical instruments, procedures, and patient safety standards
• Ability to anticipate surgeon and team needs during procedures
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Reliability and adaptability in a fast-paced surgical environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain operating rooms before, during, and after surgeries
• Set up surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment according to procedure requirements
• Assist surgeons and nurses by passing instruments and supplies as requested
• Maintain a sterile field throughout procedures and actively monitor for potential breaches
• Process specimens and handle surgical instruments post-operation
• Comply with facility policies and regulatory requirements regarding patient safety, documentation, and infection control
• Assist in the cleaning and restocking of the operating rooms for subsequent cases

$1,815 - $1,920/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
