Operating Room Technician in Hillsboro, OR

Embark on an exciting opportunity to support surgical teams with your expertise as a certified surgical technologist or nurse (ORT). This highly collaborative role calls for skilled professionals dedicated to delivering outstanding patient care in the operating room.

Schedule:

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (Days: 9:00am–9:30pm)
• Specific days to be determined during interviews

Contract Length:

• 13 weeks

Qualifications:

• Valid BLS certification required
• At least 2 years of recent experience as a Surgical Tech (Certified) or ORT Nursing
• In-depth knowledge of operating room procedures and sterile techniques
• Team player with strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment is sterilized and ready
• Assist surgical teams before, during, and after procedures
• Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and safety protocols
• Anticipate the needs of surgeons and circulate as necessary
• Handle surgical instruments and supplies efficiently
• Document procedures and support patient care throughout surgical experiences
