Schedule:
- 3x12 hour shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Call once per week and every 6th weekend
- 13-week contract with potential for extension
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist
- Current CST certification
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
- Previous travel experience preferred
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
Role Responsibilities:
- Handle and prepare surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment for general surgical procedures
- Demonstrate thorough understanding of specific assigned surgical cases and anticipate the surgical team’s needs
- Support patient preparation, including safe and timely transport within the operating environment
- Maintain attention to sterile technique and established safety protocols at every step
- Deliver reliable service support, assisting with building services and patient care tasks as directed
- Remain responsive and ready to act according to established procedures during emergent situations
