Travel Operating Room Technician - Jamestown, CA

Schedule/Hours:

• Travel assignment (rotating schedule, specifics to be provided during interview process)

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED (required)
• Associate’s/Technical degree or equivalent combined education and experience (preferred)
• Previous scrub technician or OR experience/training course (preferred)
• Valid Surgery Technician certification (preferred)
• Current BLS certification from an approved vendor, such as AHA or ARC (required)
• CNA certification (preferred)

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surgical cases by checking all supplies and equipment in advance
• Assemble operative instrumentation and maintain a sterile field
• Assist with instrument, sponge, needle, and blade counts alongside the RN
• Perform housekeeping and clerical support duties
• Transport patients as directed and maintain equipment cleanliness
• Collect case data and ensure all labeling follows established standards
• Adhere strictly to aseptic and safety protocols at all times
• Other related tasks as assigned
