Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms for surgeries, ensuring necessary equipment and sterile supplies are available
• Scrub in and assist surgeons during procedures, anticipating their needs
• Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques throughout each surgical case
• Handle surgical instruments and specimens according to established protocols
• Monitor and track surgical inventory, ensuring consistent availability of required materials
• Collaborate closely with registered nurses, surgeons, and anesthesia professionals to promote a safe surgical environment
• Support post-procedure clean-up and preparation for subsequent cases

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST)
• Experience in an operating room technician (ORT) role preferred
• Strong knowledge of sterile techniques, surgical instruments, and operating room protocols
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and rapidly changing surgical demands
• Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of teamwork
• Current BLS certification required
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
