Step into an engaging role supporting surgical teams by utilizing your skills as a Certified Surgical Technologist. In this contract position, you will work with a varied case mix—ranging from orthopedics and general surgery, to endoscopy, gynecology, ENT, podiatry, urology, ophthalmology, and dental procedures—ensuring the operating room runs efficiently and patients receive top-tier care.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm
  • 24–40 hours per week (hours are volume-based)
  • No weekends or holidays required
  • On-call responsibility: 10–11 days/month, 3:30pm–7:00pm (M–F)

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
  • Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification
  • Valid BLS certification
  • Prior experience as a Surgical Tech, with competence in a variety of surgical areas (orthopedics, general surgery, GYN, etc.)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments for daily procedures
  • Work collaboratively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care
  • Support all phases of surgery, from preoperative preparation through postoperative clean-up
  • Adhere strictly to infection control policies and all safety regulations
  • Remain on-call as scheduled to provide after-hours staffing when needed
